Obituary of Ethel Beatrice Cordell

Ethel Beatrice (Morgan) Cordell went to be with the Lord on April 18, 2015. Ethel was born in Bald Hill, Oklahoma September 6, 1923 to Charles and Catherine (Holmes) Morgan. Ethel married Carl Cordell and spent her days as a homemaker for her family. She enjoyed fishing and cooking, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. Ethel was preceded in death by her husband Carl Cordell; son Mark Cordell; and parents Charles and Catherine Holmes Morgan. She is survived by children Quinn “Loyd” Cordell and wife Kim of Sapulpa, OK; Janice Thompson and husband Jerry of Borger, TX; Terry Cordell of Newcastle, CA; grandchildren Marcy Cordell; Robert Peterman; Amanda Enriquez and husband Eric; Brian Cordell; Chelsea Cordell; great-grandchildren Rheba Matteson and husband R.J.; Christina Peterman; great, great-grandchildren Phoebe; Daniel; Andrew; Jayden; and Neomiah; brothers Clyde Morgan and wife Wanda of Sapulpa, OK; Jim Morgan of Sapulpa, OK ; and sister Mary Bauer of Sand Springs, OK. Ethel lived a wonderful life. She was very loved by her family and we will greatly miss her. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, April 24, 2015 at Green Hill Funeral Home with burial in Bristow City Cemetery to follow. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 1 -9 pm at Green Hill Funeral Home. The family will be at the funeral home to greet friends from 6 – 8 pm.
