Obituary of DOROTHY ADAMS

Dorothy Mae Adams of Kiefer passed away from this life, returning to the bosom of the Father on Monday with her children and sister at her bedside. Dorothy was born on February 12, 1927 in Depew to Sol and Rosa Evans. She married Archie Handson Adams on October 8, 1950. Archie preceded her in death in October 1986. Dorothy is survived by; daughters; Karen Ashford of Twin Hills, LeAnn Wimmer of Glenpool, a foster son Jerry D. Evans of Kiefer; 9 grandchildren; Wesley Ashford, Kendra Smith, Casey, Lacie and Abby Evans, Kara Ashford, Alanna Garrison, Hannah and Jonathan Wimmer; 5 great-grandchildren; Kayla and Trey Ashford, Kammie, Skylar and Daxton Smith; One sister; Virginia Graham; 3 brothers; Gayle Edward Evans, Jerry Harvey Evans, Jimmy Lou Evans (and the late - William Calvin Evans). Dorothy will always be remembered for her loving kindness, abundant generosity and warm smile. She loved football and her favorites were the Dallas Cowboys and the OU Sooners. Dorothy was a homemaker and spent a lot of time outdoors before retiring to her rocking chair where she fellowshipped with her family. Dorothy was most of all faithful to her God and he was first and foremost in her life. Godspeed Mom! We Love You!
