Lisa Marie Baker was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma February 6, 1972 to Ray and Lahoma Baker. She passed away February 20, 2020 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 48. Lisa was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her daughter/sister Casey Britt and her husband Justin; sister Linda Dobson and her husband Sean; brother-in-law/friend Randy Rankin; her uncle Ray Hill; nephew Steve Rankin; niece Stephanie Rankin; and granddaughter Chloe Wood. Lisa never married but was engaged to Lionel “Dean” Watashe from 2009 until his sudden passing in 2011. A few months after Dean’s passing, Lahoma and Casey bought a teacup poodle named “Tinker” (short for Tinkerbell – granddaughter Chloe named her). Tinker lived with Lisa and was a great companion for her. Tinker is now living with Casey, Justin and Chloe in Oklahoma City and is doing just fine along with their other 2 dogs and cat. Lisa worked as a CNA until she was injured in a car accident in her mid-30s forcing her to retire early. She then became caregiver to her parents for years, until their passing in 2015 and 2017. After her parents passed Lisa moved from the country in Sapulpa to the city of Tulsa, where she made new friends and even rekindled some old friendships. She loved all types of music, especially 80’s music. Some of her favorites were Bob Segar, Ozzy, Motley Crue, Guns-n-Roses, Journey, Skid Row, Scorpions, Poison and many others. She loved attending concerts of her favorite bands she saw some of them more than once. Lisa also had great artistic talent. She enjoyed drawing, sketching and coloring. She kept a sketch pad of random animals, flowers and other objects she drew over the years. She collected small glass figurines of dragons, cute frogs, artwork of wolves, Native American artwork, jewelry and memorabilia. While Lisa enjoyed many things she loved hanging out with her family and friends. www.greenhillok.com
