Obituary of Jimmy Boyd, Sr.

Jimmy Boyd, Sr. was born to Newton and Ella Boyd in Chattanooga, Tennessee on October 1, 1946. He passed away on October 17, 2022, at home in Owasso, Oklahoma at the age of 76. He is survived by his loving wife Sandra Knight-Boyd, and his seven children: Sandra LeeAnn Compton, Linda Denise Shidell, Jimmy Boyd, Jr., Judith Ann Lane, Rodney Allen Hargus, Roberta Lynn Fortune, Lisa Marie Hargus, his brother Bobby Boyd, and 18 grandchildren and MANY  great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his younger brother Jackie Boyd.

Jimmy Boyd, Sr. was a business owner in Owasso Oklahoma for 30 years. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and being with his family.

He will be missed by everyone lucky enough to have met him.

As per Jimmy's request, no funeral or memorial service will be held. A celebration of life will be held at Bailey Golf Course Club House on November 20th at 5:00 p.m.
